Secondary School Facility Standard
This “belt and braces” barre system conforms with the Education Facilities Research Group Specification Standard 406 Performance Workshop Exercise Barre, for Secondary Schools.
A 40mm NB 6mm pipe is supported off the wall at each end the barre and a standard 48.3mm timber barre is offset 150mm from this with brackets at 1070mm. Support legs and brackets are then at evenly spaced intervals to a maximum of 1500mm along the steel main barre. Length may vary according to the requirements of a given room and for ease of transport this barre system is typically joined at 3metre modules. Finished in a standard black powdercoat or they may be in any colour from the Dulux Powdercoating range at no extra charge.
